The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will soon close the registration window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026). Candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate law programs must apply online through the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in — by October 31, 2025.
The CLAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The online registration process began on August 1, 2025, for both CLAT UG (Undergraduate) and CLAT PG (Postgraduate) programs.
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating law institutions across India.
The CLAT UG 2026 exam will feature 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided across the following sections:
- English Language
- Current Affairs including General Knowledge
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques
